Here’s a short update on the ongoing court trial. The judge has postponed the date of the verdict (originally planned July 15) to August 26, due to the summer holiday period.
It’s funny that they spend all this time and money on trying to stop the illegal sharing of music and movies when they sell devices that allow you to record them. I have a DVD recorder and I-pod that allow me to record movies and music. I also have in my attic an old cassette recorder that I used to record music over the radio and albums.
Since I only listen to a couple of songs on any album it would be a waste of money for me to buy an over priced cd. I don’t know about you but there is no movie that is so hot that I’d run out and spend the small fortune is cost to see it. I just wait for it to come out and record it. If their going to make it illegal to download and share then the need to be fair and look at all the medias (DVD-recorders, I-pods, Cable, Computers etc..).

one of these day I hope,some one will understand that is not users fault that download files but of who let do the upload whit out controll of the file so , of some provider do not look what is entering in his server so continue download becouse no one court can say you do illegal action if these is not for money intent where is the damage? some one must thank us becouse we do gratis spot and professional peaple in their wor by “legal”

Anyway just did read in dutch news that mininova need to stop all links to illegal content.
Anotherwise they forced to pay 1000 euro per link to BREIN.
Its totaly ridicoules somehow.
Mininove, No possible solution to move the site offshore to the sexychelles? I know alot sites run there.
