Hi everyone!
It’s been a while since we launched our Content Distribution (CD) service. From now on it is more convenient to browse the CD (”featured”) torrents. Like all other torrents, the featured torrents can be browsed by category and subcategory.
Each featured torrent now has its own statistics page (example). This page shows how many times the torrent has been downloaded and from which countries. Similar statistics are also available for the publishers of featured content on their My statistics page.
Moreover, the general website statistics have also been changed. On the Mininova statistics page you can see a detailed overview of the number of downloads, uploads and search queries.
For those who’re wondering: all graphs on the statistics pages mentioned above are generated using the Google Chart API.
Some other news: the Mininova team moved into a new office, see the contact page for details. This also means that we will be able to work more efficiently on Mininova and our other projects.
And more things have been improved, including the IRC page. This page now features a live (AJAX) IRC chat window, so you don’t have to install an IRC client to join our channel.

Well you are improving the site any chance of adding the possibility to add a http://www.animenfo.com/ or http://anidb.net link as an option(for anime titles) in the same way as imdb has an optional field when uploading movie torrents. For quick reference sake…

These new statistics are great, one other measure that would be useful the total size of all transferred files.
It’s possible for someone to download the .torrent without downloading the content, so the total bytes transferred would be another helpful statistic.

New to Mininova and just learning whats what and how to use the site.
My thanks to everyone who contributes. Too much is paid for music/progs etc to so few by so many (some for 75 years after publication and those rights society’s) its become obscene. All praise to the sites such as Mininova for its innovations and its people/members/contributors. keep up the great work.
I have used Miniova for about a year now mostly for games and software. Alarmingly though, over the past 3 months or so it seems that lots of the games or software offered for download contains viruses etc.
I know its not your fault but probably just alot of jerk guys out there or maybe its even intentional from some of the software companies. The comment files are very helpful but if they all say their is a virus or a trojan, I just dont download hardly anything anymore.

I love mini nova but try as i might i Cannot be seen seeding i.e. I upload and check sometimes am shown seeding for a little while but it soon vanishes and 0 seed appears.Just as right now( Steven seagal-songs from the crystal caves.0 seeds but there is me and half a dozen others now. Can nothing be done about this PLEASE.
